I hail from a Philly suburb, raised by a Blues Musician Dad and Art Teacher Mom. Tyler School of Art & Architecture beckoned, fueling my passion for music, arts, and design.
Music and skateboarding paved my design path early on, crafting skateboard deck graphics and poster layouts.
Post-graduation (2013), I ventured into advertising at TracyLocke, kickstarting a career in the New England/New York area.
While in New Haven, I met my wife Terri working as a Bioinformatics Scientist in the Genetics Department of Yale. Despite Art Direction and Neuroscience being wildly different, we were a perfect match.
Enter Duke, our adopted brown Lab during the pandemic—a Scooby Doo doppelgänger.
When Haygarth opened an office in Chicago, I and some coworkers seized the opportunity to relocate, diving into the Kellogg's account.
Chicago swept me off my feet with its vibrant music, comedy, sports, and culinary scenes.
Thunderclap Design, birthed in 2020 with partner Kenneth Gragson, became a hub for diverse projects—NASCAR design, beauty packaging, fitness branding, high-end home staging, and restaurant identity.
2022 marked milestones: marriage and my first Chicago home.
Embracing a new life, I relish knowledge through rare books, informative podcasts, and plein air painting.
