MATT BOURQUE

I’m a Chicago-based designer and artist, born outside Philadelphia and raised by a blues musician and an art teacher who taught me early on that creativity is a way of life. After graduating from Tyler School of Art in 2013, I built my career in New England and New York before moving to Chicago, where I co-founded Thunderclap Design and later launched Bourque Design. Along the way, I’ve shaped brands across industries as wide-ranging as motorsports, consumer goods, hospitality, and real estate — always chasing the challenge of making work that resonates.

At 35, I see my career as the meeting point of craft, curiosity, and experience: a place where strategy and creativity collide to create design that’s bold, thoughtful, and built to last.
